What the notice says, and where
- The bulletin gives file formats and KB limits only for the uploads. It gives no size in pixels or centimetres for the photograph or the signature. The 3.5 × 4.5 cm crop in the tool is our suggestion (the usual passport size), not an official size.
- The bulletin contradicts itself on the finger and thumb impressions: 10 to 200 KB in the upload list (PDF page 21) and 50 to 300 KB under "Candidate’s Left and Right hand Fingers and Thumb impressions" (PDF page 22). We do not make that file; if you make it elsewhere, 50 to 200 KB fits both.
- The bulletin says the passport size photograph is “taken after 01 January 2026” (PDF page 19). It also tells candidates to keep passport size and 4″ × 6″ prints for the exam centre (PDF page 22); those prints are not uploaded.
- On 1 Nov 2026 the NTA NEET (UG) page lists the 2026 bulletin as the latest; no 2027 bulletin is listed. The dates above are the 2026 bulletin’s. NTA also published a notice that extended the last date of the 2026 form; we have not read it.
Questions
What is the NEET UG photo size in KB?
The 2026 bulletin (printed page 16) says the photograph is a JPG or JPEG file between 10 KB and 200 KB, in colour or black and white. The signature is between 10 KB and 100 KB.
Which size must the NEET finger and thumb impressions be?
The 2026 bulletin gives two ranges: 10 to 200 KB on PDF page 21 and 50 to 300 KB on PDF page 22. A file of 50 to 200 KB fits both. This site does not make that file.
Is the NEET UG 2027 bulletin out?
Not on 1 Nov 2026: the NTA NEET (UG) page lists the 2026 bulletin as the latest. This page uses the 2026 bulletin and will be updated when a new one is published.
Do I upload a live photo for NEET UG?
You take a live photograph in the form with your camera, and you also upload a scanned passport size photograph. This page makes the scanned photograph and the signature.
What if the NEET bulletin changes?
If the notice changes, the notice is right. Open the bulletin linked on this page and check it before you apply.
