Frequently asked questions

How do I split a collage into separate photos?

Open Split collage. The grid is detected for you; adjust the lines if needed, then click Split and download each photo.

Can I make all photos the same size for a marketplace?

Yes. In Split collage, pick an output size such as 1000 × 1000 or 2000 × 2000 px, keep the whole photo with white space or fill the frame, then download all photos as a ZIP.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Cropping happens inside your browser, so your image never leaves your device.

Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?

Yes. Type the width, height and position of the crop box, or drag it on the image.

Is the Image Cropper free?

Yes. It is free to use and does not need an account.

How do I crop to 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 or 9:16?

Open Crop and choose the ratio: Free, Original, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 or 9:16. The crop box keeps that shape. Drag the box or its corners (or use the arrow keys) to choose the part you want, then click Crop image and download it.

Does cropping change the quality or the file size?

The crop copies the pixels of the box as they are, without scaling, so the cropped image is as sharp as the original. JPG and WebP are saved again at 92 % quality; PNG stays lossless. With fewer pixels, the file is usually smaller.

What happens to transparent areas when I crop?

PNG keeps them. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white. Under Output format, choose Same as original, or PNG for a transparent result.
